"The team has a lot of excitement and optimism for the upcoming season. We return our entire roster minus only 1 pitcher. As a group, many of the seniors have started as freshman and have a 73-28 record in that stretch. Mason Newhard and Cody Menster will lead the pitching staff. Very experienced lineup with 7 senior starters. Team will score a lot of runs and is probably the most athletic team that I have had in Monticello. We will be very solid defensively at every position." Head Coach Josh Soper
