Ankeny returns almost it's entire pitching staff from last year. Cole Whitaker returns after an injury forced him to sit out the 2014 season. Pitching looks to be their strong suit early in the season. The Hawks look to be more routine and consistent on defense. The team will be led by it's senior class as well as 2016 switch-hitting catcher/ middle infielder Greg Anderberg.
