Plant run rules Osceola
February 5, 2015
By Rob Sidwell
Florida Scouting Director
Many scouts were on hand at Alonso to see RHP Jake Woodford (Plant, 2015) in his first outing of the season as well as OF Kyle Tucker (Plant, 2015) take on Osceola in the Alonso preseason tournament. Neither one of the two University of Florida commits disappointed. Plant only needed one run for the win as they were on the board early and often. Jake Woodford the No. 12 ranked player in Florida, shut down the Osceola bats going five strong innings giving up only two hits. He commanded the game from start to finish. Kyle Tucker the No. 7 ranked player in Florida, was the offensive leader as he was a perfect 3-for-3 on the night with a single and two home runs that were no doubters. Plant blanked Osceola 11-0 in 5 innings.
