The Northeast Vikings traveled to Clearwater to take on the Countryside Cougars and were unable to keep their perfect record intact as they fell to the Cougars 2-0. Countryside was led by 2017 OF/RHP Matt Adams who threw a complete game no hitter and was 2-3 at the plate.
The game was scoreless until the third inning when 2015 OF Tommy Labella led off the inning with a double to left centerfield and later scored on a throwing error when the Vikings were trying to turn a double play.
The Cougars scored their final run in the bottom of the sixth when Adams led off the inning with a single and was later driven in by 2016 INF Steven Wilson. Adams completed the shutout and no hitter with a 1-2-3 seventh to give Countryside the win.
