Alonso puts East Lake away in dominating fashion

Alonso came out swinging the bats tonight after an extra inning win the night before in their preseason tournament. Tonight Alonso took on East Lake and they were in command the whole night. Alonso got on the board in the 2nd inning with an RBI ground ball by Louis Ortiz and and another RBI by Mike Paule on an error by East Lake. Florida State commit Ryan Mejia lead off the 3rd with a single, stolen base, was moved over by Peyton Woble and a sacrifice fly and RBI by Sam Davidson which scored Mejia. Davidson and Woble both had RBI singles in the 4th. Paule had a home run in the 5th and Mejia added an RBI triple in the 6th. Alonso won 10-0.
Ryan Mejia lead the way with a single, a triple, 2 RBIs and a stolen base. Louis Ortiz also had a single and a double with 3 RBIs and Mike Paule chipped in with a home run and 2 RBIs. Kevin Nunez went three strong innings for Alonso allowing no hits with six K's and one walk. Jordan Butler closed the door with two innings in relief giving up 3 hits and 4 K's, walking none.
