NEW PLAYER TO WATCH:
Blake Rohm: Rohm got a couple of ABs in 2014 as a freshman. Look for Rohm to make an impact as a starter in 2015 and also gets some mound time.

Garrit Elzinga: Graduated 

BOTTOM LINE:   

At one point in 2014 the Coyotes were 8-5 and looking to make a splash in the 5A playoffs, but then they lost their last 6 games of the season. They limped into the district playoffs and played Cherry Creek tough, but lost 1-0. The Coyotes have talent. They return No. 12 2015 Logan Soole, one of the top LHP in the state.  Soole is 6-0 185 lb. He Throws from a quick and short high three-quarter slot. Has thrown in mid 80's off mound.  Curveball has tight spin with 1-7 action. From outfield throws in upper 80's to low 90's. With Soole on the mound they always have a chance to win that game regardless of who they are playing. In 2014 Soole had 57 K's in 32 IP with a 2.81 ERA. He also led teh team in hitting with a .419 BA, and also led the team with 19 runs scored and 3 HR. 2015 SS Kyle Sholtz returns in 2015. Soltz hit .312 in 2014 with 2 HR. 2016 2B Zach Sattler returns in 2015. As a junior this will be Sattler's 3rd year on varsity and already brings a lot of experience to the team. Jake Stockebrand returns after missing his junior year. He will add depth to the lineup. J2016 Zach Berohn and 2017 Blake Rohm look to add pitching depth behind Soole.
