After long deliberation, and effort from our staff to see as many players in the 2020 class as possible, we are proud to release the initial rankings for the 2020.

This class is loaded with physical players which project to turn into very advanced players. We expect recruiting to pick up for several in the class over the next few months, and even foresee some commitments during the summer.

2020 Cayden Wallace receives the No. 1 rankings in this class.

Cayden Wallace, INF/RHP, Greenbrier High School
Wallace is a 5-foot-10 175-pound 3B/RHP with a large frame and a physical build. On the mound he uses a simple repeated delivery with a short quick arm action to command the strike zone on a consistent basis. His fastball works 82-84 mph with late run. As a position player he shows advanced feel as hitter. He starts from an athletic stance with a forward lean. He loads back, moving his hands down, before attacking the baseball with a line drive swing from a low hand slot. He has shown the ability to have raw power to pull side. Defensively he plays through the baseball with fluid actions, using a normal exchange a strong accurate arm, to deliver the baseball accurately across the infield.

After Wallace, you follow with two premium arms in 2020 RHP Tyler Cacciatori and 2020 RHP Luke Davenport. After that there is a group of promising position players, that have shown to be advanced athletes with a feel to hit.

This ranking release is only to 25, as our staff continue to evaluate players throughout the summer we expect to revise our rankings in July expanding to 50 players.
