Prep Baseball Report is excited to post our up to date 2015 rankings. The state of Arkansas was well represented with eight players being ranked in the top 200 players. The PBR Arkansas staff is working hard on state rankings for each class and will post our first rankings on January 15th. Over the next few months we will be hosting events and visiting some high schools to see as many of the top players as possible.
#14. Gray Fenter, RHP, West Memphis HS
Fenter attacks hitters aggressively with his low-90s fastball. He sits predominately 91-92 with his fastball, with late life through the zone. He also throws his 78-79 mph with conviction, though with erratic command.
#93. Kacey Murphy, LHP, Heritage HS
The 6-foot, 180-pound, lefthander has above average pitchabilty with three pitches. He can locate his fastball 86-88 mph. His arm action is loose, but he tends to get rotational. He throws his sweeping breaking ball for strikes in all counts.
#98. Daniel Sprinkle, RHP, White Hall HS
The 6-foot-4, 220-pound right-hander works from a H 3/4 arm slot and has a loose arm. He comes to a tall and fall balance point, and tends to leave the lower half behind. He throws his fastball 90-93 with heavy sink. The secondary stuff is a work in progress
#121. Andy Pagnozzi, RHP, Fayetteville HS
6-foot, 190 pound RHP can really pitch, he has a quality feel for four pitches, his fastball works 84-87 up to 89 along with quality slider 76-78 and a curveball with 12/6 action, 71-73. He can also commands the change up with good arm action.
#141. Ty Harpeneau, RHP, Southside HS
A quality two pitch guy, Harpeneau has a fastball 86-89 and a sharp slider 77-79. He really understands how to pitch and knows the game well overall. There is a little extra effort in his delivery but he still maintains good mechanics.
#144. Weston Rogers, LHP, Har-Ber HS
The 6-foot-4 190-pound, left-hander locates his fastball on both sides of the plate. His fastball is heavy with late life with velocity 83-86 mph. He commands his 12/6 curveball for strikes. The curveball has good depth. He throws his changeup up for strikes, with arm side run.
#190. Blaine Knight, RHP, Bryant HS
6-foot-2,160-pound right-hander throws his fastball 86-89. He projects to throw harder, due to his frame and loose arm action. His frame will hold weight as he is thin right now. Knight has shown a feel for his off speed pitches locating his breaking ball and changeup for strikes.
#198. Drew Tyler, SS, Fayetteville HS
6-foot, 190-pound, infielder shows the ability to play anywhere on the infield, he has soft hands and plays through the ball on a consistent basis. He has good athleticism running a 6.8 60. Offensively he is a consistent hitter with an inside out swing, that consistently squares balls up. He maintains good balance throughout his swing.
