RSi
The reactive strength index measurement of an athlete's explosiveness by comparing their jump height to the ground contact time in between their jumps. On a scale of 0-5.
Vertical Jump
A measure of any athlete's body strength and reach calculated from the flight time divided by the contact time.
Ricky Maschinot: C/OF, (2027) Archbishop Moeller, OH. 5-foot-10, 155-pound projectable frame. (66.9 mph bat speed average). (18.0 mph hand speed average). Starts in a balanced stance with a rhythmic load, then uses a controlled stride. Has electric bat speed, uphill swing plane and good extension on his finish. During his round he produced loud contact and found lots of barrels. Aggressive approach. In the outfield, he showed the ability to make throws to the bases at 85 mph. While catching, he made strong throws to second and produced an efficient position velocity of 79 mph; shows smooth feet, soft sure hands, and a clean transfer. Above average flexibility and calm setup. Consistent accuracy to the bag, used uninterrupted slot and a consistent arm action. (Max spin ; Avg ).

Ricky Maschinot: C/OF, (2027) Moeller, OH. 5-foot-9, 150-pound. (63.7 mph bat speed average). (18.0 mph hand speed average). Began in a balanced stance with a controlled load, then used a short stride. Bat speed was developing, had an uphill swing plane and balanced finish. Pull side up the middle approach. From the outfield, he made throws to the infield at velocities up to 82 mph. While catching, his best recorded velocity during throw downs was clocked at 73 mph. While catching, his best position velocity throwing to second was registered at 73 mph; produced pop times of 2.02-2.09. Clocked a 60 time of 7.55 at the event.

Ricky Maschinot: C/OF, (2027) Moeller, OH. 5-foot-8, 150-pound. (64.9 mph bat speed average). (17.9 mph hand speed average). Begins in an open stance with a quick smooth load, then uses a leg kick. Has above average bat speed, simple short swing plane and level finish. Found multiple barrels with some loud contacts. Pull side tough out approach. Solid from the outfield, he showed the ability to throw at velocities up to 81 mph; shows soft hands, a clean exchange, and athletic feet. Behind the plate, throw downs to second were maxed at 71 mph; showed consistent hands, a natural fluid transfer, and in control feet. recorded pop times of 2.02-2.15. Some flexibility and clean setup.
