Dylan Skidmore: OF/LHP, (2023) Normandy high school, OH. 5-foot-11, 155-pound. At the plate, Skidmore recorded an exit velocity of 93 mph. (67.1 mph bat speed average). (21.8 mph hand speed average). Begins in a balanced quiet stance with a controlled compact load, then uses a small leg kick. Bat speed was quick, used a simple upward swing plane and good extension on his finish. Solid from the outfield, his best throws to the bases were registered at 72 mph; had sure hands, consistent footwork, and a clean exchange. Movements laterally were athletic and he fields the ball out front. Used a high ¾ slot with a loose arm action. On the mound, showed consistent arm speed with a high ¾ arm angle and a loose arm action. Drop-and-drive type pitcher and shows easy effort. Sat with his fastball at 77-79 mph. Showed slight running action. (Max spin 1767; Avg 1695). Shows slurvey action on his 1/7 curveball (65-67). (Max spin 1993; Avg 1857). Ran a 4.08 30 yard dash.
